This could be seen as the key term if that was the item's name - the "I-Pad" is not the "iPad". Case in point is if another store popped up calling themselves "Wall Mart" - wouldn't that be enough of a change to make a case against them inadmissible?Proview makes flat screens and unsuccessfully tried to make a tablet computer nearly 10 years ago called the I-Pad.
Interestingly, Proview sold the "global trademark" to the name to a company called IP Application Development (IPAD) for around $51,000. At the time, Proview did not know that Apple was actually behind IP Application Development.
