Compaq evo n600 with windows xp will it get to the net

i was looking at buying a inexpensive laptop i have a chance at a compaq evo n 600c with windows xp pro all i normally do is buy on ebay or watch youtube and check bank acounts will this laptop be able to do this?...thanks
