Compaq Presario CQ61

Hi I have been asked to fix a young boys Compaq CQ61 with a 3gb SATA HDD. the HDD has 4 Partitions but nothing in the Recovery or HP tools partition. also it will not boot to BIOS so I can't boot from CD/DVD drive to try & load windows OS. So how can I fix this Please Help

Have you backed up your data before partitioning the hard drive?

And are you sure it is 3GB HDD? Or do you mean 3TB?

Hi thank you for getting back to me so soon. I'm reading this off the HDD now It's a Hitachi: says SATA 3.0Gb/s so I'm thinking it is. about the data there is none on the HDD I have used a SATA dock to have a look at why it wont boot up but all i can see that there 4 Partitios where 1 says Recovery 1 Says HP tools but there is nothing on then they are blank. PLEASE HELP
