Compaq Presario Display Problem

my display is not right
it appers red n a bit shining too
please tell me a remedy for my problem

It could either be an issue with the LCD itself or it could be an issue with the inverter. It could also be an issue with the graphics chip, i.e. heat damage. You can try updating the graphics driver via compaq/hp's support site to see if that helps it, but it is unlikely.
