I have a compaq presario r3000 and experiencing problems with the power connection. I read on this site about a hp xc1000 all in one media cable that would bypass the problem. I pulled it up on ebay but cannot tell how it would work. Can someone tell me how it connects, what it connect to and it recharges the battery as well as furnishing power to use without a battery. Thanks for any help.
