Compatibility HDD for HP laptop

Hello, i have a HP Pavilion Dv7-1199ev laptop with 2 HDD Drivers WD Black Scorpio 320GB SATA2. 4 days ago the second HDD it didn't spin up so i removed from my laptop. But because i need space, i am thinking to install an WD Black Scorpio 750GB SATA3.
My only probleme is that, It will work the new HDD Drive in my laptop? Is compatible the SATA3 Disk in my laptop SATA2 port?

Yes.... you will just connect at the slower 3 Gbps speed, which neither drive can fill anyhow so no loss there.

Thank you for your help! I have to wait 2-3 day. It was not in stock... so i make order and i am waiting now...
If all goes well Monday morning i will have the drive
