compatibility problems windows 8.1

im trying to play championship manager 03/04 on my new PC which has windows 8.1, nothing, including compatibility settings seems to be working, any help would be appreciated, thanks

What error appears when you try to run the game? Unfortunately, from what I've read, most people have had very limited success running those games on Windows 8.
