Completely free registry cleaners

Is there a completely free registry cleaner that I can download, scan and fix my errors?

The only one approved by most in the IT field is CCleaner, which also has numerous other great features. It's conservative in its registry cleaning.

I would not recommend them for Vista and W7.

As someone who does a fair amount of debugging I can tell you that they often cause MAJOR issues at times.
