Hi,
I have a Denon AVR3311c receiver and it runs extremely hot. its not in a cabinet and it will go into thermal protect at 60-70% load after an hr. Denon recommends at least 12" in every direction so they also know it runs hot. Have been looking at coling systems anyone have any good experiences with any of them?? It's almost insane to spend 300.00 to cool a 1,000.00 piece equipment but anything has got to be better than a box fan hanging from ceiling. I'm looking at this specifically.

thanks

Could be the heat sinks have no air to breathe inside your receiver. Bring it into a reputable repair shop and ask them to look at it.

well I just purchased new last week was a demo I believe contacted Denon and they seemed to not be concerned and informed me of the cooling products thats why I was asking. seemed unheard of to me but I've got no choice really. Thanks for your input though.
