Computer comes on but screen dont

i have a Samsung notebook n130,the computer comes on but the screen dont any advice please

i dont have a monitor, but i have another laptop would i be able to test it using that screen.

if so. could you tell me how to connect/setup

Go to a friends house that has a monitor and connect it to your laptop via dvi or vga cable.

I'm sure a local mom and pop computer shop would do it for you for free, it would only take a second to see if it's outputting a video signal.

You won't be able to use another laptop screen the way you would an external monitor.
A laptop does video output only - the other laptop can't accept video input.

Someone mentioned using a flashlight to try and see if the screen was active, but without the backlight working.
