Hey there

So my computer have been crashing for the past year when im playing games.

That said, its not always it crashes.

The odd thing is that it only happens sometimes and sometimes in periods too.

So for example: League of legends. Here kept my computer crashing in-game maybe half a year ago. It will just suddenly freeze the picture and the sound, and the only way to use my computer again is to turn off the power supply.
But then my computer began to only freeze/crash in loading screen and when my game was finished, and not in-game. and this only counts for League of legends.

Trackmania on the other hand, will always crash/freeze about 4-5 min in.

World of warcraft is very random, and I can sometime play for a whole week where nothing happens, but then I can have periods where it will keep crashing when I have played for about 30 min.

I cant really see a pattern, and it's always the same freeze/crash; just suddenly the image and sound stop working and I need to turn off the power supply.

I have only tried two times that the computer froze or crashed when I was just browsing.

And yes, I have updates my drivers :)

Here is a list of all the things I have tried:
  • Updated my graphic card drivers
  • Updates other drivers
  • Made a complete reinstall of both windows 10 and 11 (I have windows 11 now)
  • Used Restoro's repair tool (didn't work)
  • Cleared my temp files
  • Run a memory check (mdsched.exe) (no problems)
  • Used system file checker (sfc/ scannow)
  • Tried to remove one of my ram and switch them around, still the same problem
  • changed graphic card to a older one (geforce 560 ti)
  • changed the hard drive where windows where installed
  • change power supply (same model)

Here is my specs:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600 CPU @ 3.30GHz, 3301 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Installed RAM 16,0 GB (Hyperx)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
System Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model Z170-Gaming K3
Graphic card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Corsair cx600m power supply
Crucial MX300 M.2 SSD
Crucial Solid Drive 240GB

So I hope someone would be available to help

Just say if you need more information on anything

best regards,
Christoffer
