Computer crashes my router.

Hello,
Recently I started have problems with my computer and WiFi. Everytime I try to use my internet on my computer it crashes the whole router. But i can watch hours of netflix on my ipad without a problem. This only happens if I google something on my computer. But when I go to a friends house my computer works fine. How do I fix this?
