Whenever I'm in a Skype call and playing a video game (ex. Minecraft) at the same time, after a while of playing my computer will ALWAYS crash. It's really annoying and I need a solution for it...

One of my friends told me that I need a new hard drive, and if I do, can somebody please suggest a not too expensive (I'm will to pay up to $200) hard drive that is great for video games and will fit in a laptop? Thanks.

I have also tried un-installing programs and it doesn't work.
The only things running in my task bar are:
Skype
MyWinLocker
Intel Rapid Storage Technology
HP Digital Imaging Monitor
Solve PC Issues

Do I need all of those?

Also, here are my computer specifications:
Manufacturer: Acer
Model: Aspire 5741G
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU - M430 @ 2.27GHz - 2.27GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.87 GB usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System

Please let me know what I have to do to stop the crashing!
Thanks so much!

How can I check the laptop's temperature, how do I know if it is overheating, and if it is, how can I fix it?

Thanks

Will do. I also found a website that had instructions on how to clean the fan:

About using the can of compressed air and shooting air into the vent- can I use a blow dryer and put it on cold (so that it doesn't use hot air)? I don't have any other way, and I would have to go out and get a can of compressed air.

Alright.
I'm going to go to WalMart tomorrow to get a can of condensed air. (http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/fellowes-canned-air-10oz/6000036232958)

Since I'm on a budget and can't order anything online, this is the laptop cooler that I will probably get: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/gear-head-neoprene-laptop-cooling-wedge-w-built-in-stand/1309630189.p?id=mp1309630189&skuId=1309630189

Would the cooler and dusting off the fan improve the performance of my laptop? It used to be a lot better, but the performance has dropped in the past couple months. What else would improve the performance?

Thanks :3
