Computer freezes during video playback

Computer freezes during video playback (YouTube, Netflix, Skype, Zoom). Sometimes a few minutes in sometimes an hour. I use Win 10 and Linux (Zorin 12) and both freeze up.

Well first I would make sure that nothing is running in the background on the computer that is using up your resources.

Second, check your internet connection. If it fluctuates, this can cause the problem. If so, you would have to talk to your ISP about it.

Lastly, you may need to clear out your browser. Cache, history, etc. The more stuff that is in there, the more issues you will have.

I unchecked the "hardware accelerator" and so far YouTube hasn't frozen. I tried Zoom today which did freeze once.
Zoom, Skype & Netfliz are not browser based. My internet connection seems ok.

if you fixed it by turn off hardware accelerator, might be your gpu not working correctly. overheating
