Computer screen crashed but laptop working

hi there.
i turn the computer on and nothing on screen, but computer keeps turning on and off. after pushing every button and nothing happens except for f10 the computer keeps running but i still have a black screen.

Hook it up to an external monitor and see if it boots properly. If it does, then you need your monitor fixed, you'll have to take it in to the repair guys. Hope it's still on warranty. If it still doesn't boot properly when hooked up to the external monitor, then it's not just the screen that's the problem, it's the the system.
