Computer screen not seeable in dark seeable in sunlight

My computer is a samsung computer and is like new I've treated it with care and for some reason it just started blacking out so i would turn my computer on and off until it worked. Then one morning i couldn't see anything on my computer i could only see things in sunlight. I also don't have a pointer to try to fix it. Can you help me find out whats going on?

the backlight on the screen went bad. from another pc google the model of the screen and service parts. if the screen is one part and it out of warranty. you can open it and try to replace the backlight yourself. or look for a trusted shop to repair the backlight.
