Computer shuts off when i try to burn DVDR'S!!!!

My Cpu Shuts Down When I Use Dvd Fab At About 75% Or It Will Convert 100% And Say Waiting To Detect Writable Media. I Place New Blank Dvdr Disc Into My External Hp Writer , Different Types Of Blanks.....Still Shuts Down...Please Help!!! Thanks!!

Check your BIOS if you have it set so that your computer shuts down at a certain temperature.

Out of curiosity, do you have any idea what the temperatures are in your system? Download HWINFO if you don't have a program that measures the temperatures, and give us the numbers that show up on the sensors.
