Okay, so i recently bought an ATI RADEON 9000 pci gpu, and my computer refuses to use it. i installed the drivers, but the computer is still using integrated graphics. i tried disabling the integrated graphics in device manager, but it still uses it somehow. i tried checking the BIOS to see if there was anything screwy in there, but nothing. anyone have any ideas?

No, dangit i accidentally picked that as the solution, no it is plugged into the card

I unselected it for it. What does it show in the device manager for the device? And if you are plugged into the card, it's not using integrated graphics. Maybe something else is amiss, but it can't be using integrated if you are plugged into the GPU. Integrated outputs through the motherboard, GPU through the GPU. If you are plugged into the GPU, it's doing something.
