Okay so I have a sprint hotspot I use for Internet. My computer has been able to connect to it before, but for some reason whenever I try to connect to it, it just keeps showing its trying to connect. Ive spent 4 minutes watching it try to connect. Other devices, like my phone and my ps4, can still connect to the hotspot. I've tried restarting the hotspot, restarting my computer, disabling and enabling the hotspot in the control panel, checking to see if I accidentally blocked myself on the hotspot. My brother owns a hotspot too, and my computer is able to connect to it just fine. My computer is a HP Pavilion if that helps any. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Try this....

1. Go to "Control Panel".

2. Next go to "Network and Internet" and then "Network and Sharing".

3. Now click on "Manage Wireless Networks".

4. On this screen, remove all wireless connections by "right clicking" on it and select "Remove network" from the drop down menu.

5. After doing this, close the oepn windows and reboot the computer.

6. Once the computer is fully reloaded, scan for the "Wi-Fi networks".

7. Click on the available network that you want to access and select "connect".

8. It takes a moment, but then you will be asked to give a password for your Wi-Fi connection. Type in the password and click the "connect" button.

It should now be connected.
