Hi. I want to buy a laptop for music production (fl studio n ableton). My budget is not high. I want a laptop with fullhd screen as I have a laptop with hd screen and all plugins of fl studio aren't visible clearly (very big in size). I live in india and from laptops available I have selected three (2 HP and 1 dell) models. I am very confused to which to buy. Please help. Main problem is budget as DELL laptop having same specs is $270 USD more priced.

1. Dell Inspiron 5559

2. HP Pavilion AB 523TX

3. HP AC 179TX

Well, that is up to you. Both Dell and HP make good laptops, some people may experience problems with either one of their laptops while other people may not have any problems. It can vary from laptop model to laptop model.

It is possible that the site selling the Dell is simply overcharging customers. Or they need to charge more because their country has higher import taxes than the other sites.

You need to decide for yourself which brand you want to go with. Perhaps the following link can help you.

They all have more or less similar specs. They primary difference is RAM (Dell has 8GB / HP has 4GB), and the dedicated GPU. RAM is generally easy and inexpensive to upgrade so only have 4GB of RAM is not that big of a deal.

The HP Pavilion has the most powerful GPU while the HP AC has the least powerful GPU.
