Connect DAC to old Sansui Receiver

Purchased The DAC adapter to connect LG TV to sansui Receiver (as in 30 yr.old wooden case) have an additional box to add more positions to receiver.I can get the sound from CD player & am/fm recieiver to external room speakers. Can not get TV sound through speakers.Upgraded from LCD TV to LED one.. no matter what I try can not get sound from TV to external speakers, was working fine with old TV. New one has way less output ports.

wat dac adapter did you buy? if you TV has optical jacks, you need a toslink or spdif to rca decoder.
