Connect hisence TV to Sony DVD player

Having trouble connecting hisence TV to Sony DVD player.. I have a white or yellow to connect info the TV..not sure which one goes into the TV..
I have taken photos just not sure how to upload them

If the DVD player has HDMI you should use that connections. Much better quality.
If the DVD player has a yellow RCA jack (for video) it should also have red and white RCA jacks for audio (left and right).
Those would connect to the AV input on the TV, It might have a shared component video (3 RCA jacks) composite video input. Check the TV manual how to use it.
