hey forum, i would just like to know whether you could teach me to link my dvd player system to my pc. I want my dvd player with 5.1 speakers to use it as a main audio device. I've tried connecting it but when plugged it into the audio jack, only one of the speakers is working, the rest is not. So i would really appreciate if you can help me out here. Thanks in advance :) (p.S im really bad with computers and speakers)

My model of my dvd player: samsung HT-E350K

Solution

yeah it seems like a setting which will simulate it :) lets see lol
sure thing man lol ok so you plug the speakers in colour co-ordinated and then an rca to AUX cable from the RCA ports to the PC which has an aux port ,

i dont get what you mean ._. im really bad with computers and speakers... my dvd player system only has one rca input (the white, red and yellow) i have already linked them to my 3.5mm audo jack adapter and plug it into my cpu in one of those ports together with an hdmi cable from my motherbaord to the dvd player but the only one speaker is working, the rest is not.

btw my man people wil laugh at this post because you wrote "teach me to link my dvd player system to my cpu" to the PC or Laptop not the CPU man haha thats like the brain of the pc its a part of the PC aha k so its like me saying could you show me how to wear clothes to my brain

ok so the RCA's are yellow for video , white and red for sound red being for the right side and left being the white you plug your white and red RCA side of the cable to the dvd player

hahha sorrryyy im a noob thats why xD

yes i have already plugged all three on them into my 3.5 jack adapter which connects to one of my motherboard's ports

listen to how much speakers play as in pick one up and listen if its playing then tell me what is playing i.e 2 speakers , 4 speakers 5 speakers and the subwoofer

only one of my speakers is playing and its really soft... the subwoofer is not playing as well

ok try this have one of the rcas plugged in so either the red or white one just see if there is a difference sounds like this adaptor is shitty tbh

not the point lol he might want to use his system as I do i have two sound systems plugged into my pc but i made my own aux to rca cables because some adaptors work some dont since of trrs and trs stratification of aux adaptors

im much more advanced with my sound but i do everything custom lol result my system gets louder and sound clearer and more bassy than most car systems ahah

only one of the speakers in working (which is the same one) when my white cable is plugged in only. when the red one is plugged it theres no sound at all

but still only one speaker thats strange go on your computer and there should be i the corner a red speaker right click on that does it have sound manager BTW im talking about realtek audio manager its the most common one
