Connect Smart tv to old receiver

Have a 1985 Pioneer SXV400 I need to connect to a Samsung un60j6300. How and where on both units?? Am 67 year old tech challanged female...help!

Your TV has both analog and digital audio outputs. Your receiver may have an optical audio input but if definitely has an analog audio input so all you would need is a cable with a stereo mini plug at one end and 2 RCA plugs at the other.
