It is possible, but not likely, that the USB of the amp accepts streaming audio on the USB. What model TV and amp are we talking about?

If the amp has a USB DAC input then it likely has a SPDIF digital audio input too. If the TV has optical digital audio out use that. Optical and coax digital audio out can be easily converted so if you don't have a matching input/output you can make it work.
