I'd like to ask for help as I never done anything similar and I would like to see if this is even possible. So, I have an oldish home theater, Panasonic SC-PT150 ( http://www.cnet.com/products/panasonic-sc-pt150-home-theater-system-5-1-channel/specs/ here's a link to it) and I would like to connect it to my new computer. The motherboard is ASUS Z97-A ( https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97A/ ) and the graphics card is a Gigabyte GTX770. I don't have a sound card and I would like to use the built in one if possible. For the stuff I know and I think the one that will matter to you is that the home theater has a SCART input. I want it to work as speakers for my pc and if possible but not really needed if it is possible to make my monitor work as a screen for the home theater. Thanks in advance,
Mihajlo

Your Z97-A has a headphone out 3.5mm stereo Jack, your SC-PT150 has an AUX in which is a red and white RCA Phono input pair.

With a 3.5mm Stereo Jack to RCA Phono cable you will get stereo out of your computer and into your processor.

However, you will never get discrete surround audio from this setup, you will only have stereo and perhaps if your lucky some kind of processed stereo surround effect.... Though perhaps not even that.

Stereo your good to go though.
