How to connect 8mm Sony Handycam Video recorder with yellow and black connector to current flatscreen tv

Are you sure your TV does not have "composite" video input (yellow), and and analogue audio input (red/white)?

What is the exact model of your TV? And model of your Sony Handycam?

The Sony is a model CCD-TRV30 and my tv is a Samsung UN55C6500VFXZA Version SK03. The yellow says Video and the black says Audio.

I am having troubles downloading BN68-02711D-03Eng.pdf]the manual, but the specs of that TV say it has "composite input", where to plug the yellow cable from the camera. If the black cable has same RCA connector, plug it into either R or L (red or white) Audio In connector, and select proper source from TV menu.

But - if these recordings are of any value for you, I would find a way to transfer them to a more modern medium (eg DVD).
