Connecting a TCL 65E17US to a JBL sound bar

Trying to connect my TCL 65E17US to my JBL 3.1 4K sound bar but there’s no hdmi in put in the back of the TV

Your TV must have HDMI ports on it, looks like that JBL sound bar has 3 HDMI inputs, so the sources would go to that, the single output would go to the TV.

If you connect your sources to the soundbar you would still need to make the connection below to get sound from the TV tuner and apps to the soundbar.
The TV has three HDMI inputs according to the manual,
Connect your sources to the TV with HDMI.
Connect the SPDIF optical audio out of the TV to the optical input on the soundbar.
You may have to turn on the optical output, turn the TV speakers off, and change the audio output type in the TV menu.
Select the optical input on the soundbar.

Thanks for your reply, I ended up going with a “optical audio output cable” otherwise know as a “TOSLINK cable” they seem to be outdated but are on par if not better than a hdmi cable!
