I have a Cambridge Audio 80 Series DVD player with SCART, Video, Composite and Component Video but no HDMI.
I have a Humax Foxsat-HDR box that currently is connected to the DVD player through SCART.
This is connected both to a Samsung TV and an Optoma projector HD151.
This set up gives brilliant HDMI pictures through the projector and TV but I have been unable to get a connection through the Human box to the projector. Ideally I would like this to be HDMI quality and am prepared to invest in a new DVD player if necessary.
Any thoughts.

Solution
The SCART connector on the DVD player is an output so you can't connect the Foxsat box to it.
You can connect a new DVD (with HDMI) and the Foxsat box to an HDMI input selector with two outputs. Some of these have audio extraction if you need it..
Some AV receivers have dual HDMI outputs so that would be perfect for you too.
A new DVD with HDMI will give you a better picture so it's worth getting one.
