connecting home theatre to led tv.

Connected my home theatre to led tv through red and white cables. Not able to adjust sound through t v remote. Will there be any connector for doing so.

Check the TV audio menu and see if it can be set for variable instead of fixed output. In many TVs the TV remote will only control the volume of the internal speakers
