Question Connecting multiple DVD plyers to receiver

I would like to connect both a JVC all region DVD player (component cables) as well as a Sony 4K blu ray player (HDMI) to my Onkyo TX-NR686 receiver and im having issues. Blu-ray no issues, JVC…no audio or video

Component cables on that other disk, chances are you have the cables connected to the wrong spots. Need a bit more details and maybe pictures of how you have things connected. Have you made sure that other player is working in general?
