Solved! Connecting old home theater system to PS4

Hi there,

I have this really JVC old home theater but it only has a SCART connection. It works fine with my Sony android tv as it still has a SCART there as well and I can get the sound through the home theater. But when I turn on my PS4 I can only get the sound through the tv speakers. Can someone advise if it is possible to "fix" that? Thanks!

Most HDTV have an audio output. Do you have that connected to the input on the stereo? That should pipe the audio from the PS4 and any other AV device hooked up to the TV to the stereo.
