Connecting Old Receiver to New Blu-Ray Receiver

I have a Denon AVR-2802 receiver and a Samsung BD-EM59 Blu-Ray disc player. The tv is a Samsung LN40E550 led.How do these all get connected to work properly? What type cables are needed? Thanks for any help. Mark G

You have a digital coaxial output and your receiver has an input for this connection.

How do these all get connected to work properly

From the Bluray player:

HDMI> TV [Video and 2 channel Audio to TV speakers]
Digital coaxial> Receiver [Audio for surround sound]

Your Bluray player will output to both connections simultaneously with maybe an adjustment setting in the Bluray player to adhere.
