Connecting soundbar to Element TV

Having a tough time with my Element TV. I cannot figure out how to connect my Vizio soundbar (w/bluetooth subwoofer) to the Element TV. I figured it out and it worked fine with my Samsung, but something with the audio settings isn't right. It has HDMI ports, but no optical. Any help?

Can't give you an exact answer without model numbers.
If the TV has any audio outputs they will be HDMI-ARC, coax digital, or headphone/analog.
You can use a converter or extractor to provide an output that's compatible with the soundbar.
Check the TV manual on how to turn on and configure the audio output.
