Connecting Sub to Surround System

I have Surround Speakers from a Phillips (MX3660D) Home Theater System. (head unit went bad). I replaced it with a Sony (STR-K665P digital audio control center. Speakers, DVD, and Television are connected. The Sub from the old system has a Line cable with RCA connectors. The New receiver has those spring loaded clips that you plug bare wire into. Can anything be done so I can use the sub? Thanks for any advice.

If your old subwoofer has an ac line cord then it is self amplified and you would need a speaker to line level adapter to connect it to the Sony that has the sub amp in it.
If not then you just need speaker wire with bare ends for the Sony and and RCA plug at the sub end.
