Connecting the blue-ray to the sound bar

i have connected my Samsung 3d smart tv to the sound bar with the optical cable but my blue-ray payer is not connected and i can see a way to do it. what do i need to do? thanks a lot

Connect the blueray to the TV not the sound bar. When you switch inputs on the TV, it will play the sound on the soundbar.
