Crossover cables are normally used for connecting two routers or two PCs directly, and are irrelevant to wireless signal strength. Netfilx HD rarely peaks 5MBPS, so unless you have a terrible WiFi signal, wireless usually isn't a problem... That being said, if your wireless signal is weak to your BD player, and you have the option to use a standard ethernet cable, go for it. You will get a more stable connection via wired connection.
