Considering an Elitebook 8460p - any experiences?

Hey there.

Currently have a 6930p. Pretty happy with it, except its a wee bit slow now, and the screen has always been terribly lacklustre.

Anyone got an 8460p? What's the screen like. The contrast ratio is low, but is it still enjoyable to look at?

Hello bigonroad;

The reviewers have not been kind to the standard 1366x768 screen. It's more than just the low contrast.

I got 8460 few 1y ago with XP Proff.

The laptop was running OK since 2 months ago when started to be very slow in windows start and running programms.
I notice that the HDD is running too much (led continuous n) . No Virus scan installed.
