Unless you had them backed up locally, or to an on-line source, like Google, they are gone along with the old phone.

Instead of starting a new thread, try replying to the one you originally posted yesterday. Was your previous phone registered with Google? If so, setting up your existing gmail account could restore your contacts. We need your input to point you in the right direction.
