Correct tv refresh rate?

I wanted to get this tv for gaming. The refresh rate is 240hz effective. I also wanted to know what the input lag was. Would it be good for gaming?

you will be using 60hz (game mode) regardless so make sure your tv has that.

such televisions (despite having 120hz or 240ghz refresh rates) still only take a 60hz input and fake everything else. this can result in visible lag which translates to poor gaming.

if using a computer, i would suggest a 120hz monitor instead. if using a console nevermind this previous comment.
