Corrupted SD Card

Hi All,

At my wedding we took tonnes of pictures on our personal point and shoot camera. While taking the pictures the immediate preview was available and there were never any error messages on th camera. However, none of our wedding pictures are available on the SD card anymore. There are 25 pictures from a previous date, and a single other picture file that windows says it can not open. The pictures are also not viewable in the camera. Are my photos gone forever? I've alreayd tried zero assumption and it doesn't return any more pictures than what i can already see
