corsair 1400 or v2 1500

what are the advantages of the v2 1500? What i found out is that the 1500 has a usb connection while the 1400 has a normal 3.5mm connection that can also be used with phones/tablets/ etc. So, what would you guys recommend? (i am getting another pair of headphones for my phone).

I used a 1500 for about 10 minutes. It sounded fine, but any time a program tried to use the mic the speakers made a humming sound that sounded like a mosquito in my ear. It seems like that is a common problem with their 1500 headset. I would recommend sticking with 3.5mm.

The 1500 v2 or the 1500? They might have fixed the issue.

Just the regular 1500. It was the quickest I ever set up an RMA. I'd be hesitant to ever try another USB headset now.
