Corsair Vengeance 1300 or 1500?

Hi guys,

I'm planning to get a Corsair Vengeance headset, but I can't decide whether to get the 1300 (analogue) or 1500 (USB) version.

I want surround sound, and the 1300 version reportedly can only do this with a high-end sound card. I have an Asus Xonar DS, will this be good enough? Or should I play it safe and buy the 1500 which emulates surround sound using dedicated software?

I was wondering the same thing as my onboard has virtual 7.1, but in your situation, it sounds like the 1300 is most likely your pick.

PS: are you a brony? :lol:

As the person above, I think getting the 1300 is indeed the better choice.
