Could my son play the sims 4 on a dell latitude laptop with windows 10,intel core 2 duo 4 GB 1 TB

Thanks, I don't know much about computers in general and want to make sure my son can play the game and others if I get this one.
 


I see no confirmation that his iGPU is powerful enough. Yes, it says "laptop mode" but that's pretty vague, and no guarantee it will work well.

A "Core 2 Duo" is a pretty old laptop is it not? I would think the graphics pretty weak likely.

1) Find out your EXACT CPU so you can look up the iGPU (use a program like Speccy)

*Intel says THIS is the minimum->
Intel GMA X4500 or better

2) VRAM is allocated from system memory (the CPU's iGPU blocks off some of the memory to use for video memory). You can CHANGE the amount in the motherboard BIOS.

If set to say 256MB you may want to raise to 512MB or 1024MB.

Summary:
It MAY work, but I have my doubts.
