cpu upgrade for gaming

Hey guys!
I Got a laptop Thats is starting to run a bit slow on the cpu. anyone here that knows the best cpu i can upgrade for it?
I Got an GE72 6QF Apache pro.
there is an i5 6300hg in it now.

I was thinking About the i7-8700k, but its next generation.
but i'm not sure if it can run the i7-7700?

Sorry to say that that processor is soldered to the motherboard so ... to all intents and purposes ... impossible to replace.

The cpu is BGA, which means it's soldered to the motherboard and not upgradable.
