I have an ASUS N51Vn laptop that i bought mainly for gaming. it was cheap and within my budget so i went with it

but when im playing a 3d game it heats up really quickly (obviously) and im thinking when im crashing the temps on my gpu and cpu are too high

I took the back cover up and both the cpu and the gpu are heat piped to the main heat sink which has a single fan

should i get a notebook cooler to put under my laptop? im already propping it up on a book -_-

Hi there,

So you are suspecting to be issue with overheating, do get a notebook cooler and see if the problem still persist. If it does, do contact Asus and see what can they do for you.
