Since I needed a good gaming headphone I looked up Mad Lust Envy's Guide and I took the AKG K702 because of it good analytic sound to hear the enemys.
I know they lack a bit of bass but I don't hear music with the PC so it does not really matter.

However, I've read that they need a good AMP/DAC because they need "a lot" of power.

Does the Creative Sound Blasterx G5 has enough power to actually use the headphones with their full potential?

My budget is 120 euro.

My Onboard Chips is not really an option since it is not that good and powerful.

They are probably OK but I use an external DAC/AMP from Schiit Audio.

I have those cans too. They don’t lack bass, they are reference headphones for record music mixing and such

I prefer a reference headphones anyway. that Schiit Fulla2 can easily drive them unless you want to go deaf. They are US$99

Later when you have a bigger budget they have lots and lots of better stuff.

I’m going to get the loaded out Jotenheim pretty soon for my house

You have the AKG K702?
Are you happy with it? I use them 100% only for gaming.

Thanks for your advice but I think the creative has more gimmicks for gamer hm?
