I have crossing Jordan set with a season pass and set to keep the last
two. Tonight it did not record the show even though it was on at its
regular time and I did not have any previous ones saved.

When I checked the history it shows it was recorded because it had
been on within the past 28 days, yet this was not shown on the listing
a repeat and my wife claims she never saw it. By the way, she tries
not to miss a show.

anyone know what could have happened.

I did not the season pass set to record only new shows, yet as far as
I can tell this was not a repeat.

Yes. NBC and/or Tribune Media Services sent out the wrong description
sometime in April. When the correct description for "Embraceable You"
came up, TiVo thought it had aired within the last 28 days and did
not record what it has been told was a duplicate.

Posted 7-Apr-05: This week's episode is new ("Locard's Exchange").
But my SP hasn't picked it up to record. The recording history for
4/10 (labeled "You Really Got Me") says it won't record because I
removed it from the To Do List, which isn't true. "You Really Got Me"
was a rerun so my FRO season pass didn't flag it to record. I couldn't
have removed it from the To Do List because it was never there.

orchestrating a round of black-widow style murders, he must establish
