Custom Dell Precision 5530 Laptop

I have a 4 year old Dell XPS 15. I love it. I'm looking to upgrade to a loaded Dell Precision 5530 laptop. I want a perfect screen with maximum RAM and storage. I don't like the lack of a Dell perfect pixel guarantee. Is anyone aware of a firm that will build a custom 5530 for me. I'm willing to pay a premium. Thanks.

Aside from a couple of boutique builders (Sagar, etc), there are no "custom" laptops.
Especially Dells.

I just purchased this exact Precision 5530 and I am very happy to say that you don't know what you are talking about if you think it costs $9000! Try exactly half of that if you include 3 years Pro Support and 3 full years of battery warranty and the larger 97 WHr battery and the tax on the entire system.

I bought it from Dell, of course! Just go to Dell and customize a 5530. I paid just under $4,500 with 3 year Pro Support and everything you mentioned plus 97WHr Battery and 3 yr warranty on it.

Well that weird cuz thats where I priced it out....I wonder if I was at Canadian Site price....anyway if thats what the price is I want one

You can certainly purchase a Precision 5530 directly from Dell with the i9 CPU,2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD Class 40,4K Display, Nvidia Quadro P2000 w/4GB GDDDR5, and 97Wh Battery, etc. However, if you want to save some money and aren't going to be doing lots of CAD type 3D stuff, try going to Dell and opening two tabs. Spec out the Precision 5530 in one but in the other window/tab customize a new XPS 15 with nearly identical specs. You can get the i9 chip, for GPU it will come with the Nvidia GTX 1050Ti with 4GB GDDR5, but the same 4k Display, a 2T SSD, 97WHr battery, etc. The cost will be about $1,200 less than the Precision.
