D20 battery door problem

The battery door on my Canon 20D is not closing all the way and the camera fails to operate when it doesn't. Any fix?

Somehow these geniuses can do miracles with the camera electronics but can't build a durable battery cover. I don't recall having too many battery cover problems with other devices but cameras, frequently.

Answer: adhesive tape or velcro ?
